China Bootcamp for Data Science Entrepreneurs

The China Bootcamp for Data Science Entrepreneurs will provide participants with access to the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2018 in Guiyang, as well as an intensive program powered by the Australian Landing Pad in Shanghai designed for entrepreneurs and scaleup companies interested in entering the China market with confidence.

The Bootcamp will take place in Chengdu and Guiyang from 23 to 27 May 2018.  Expressions of Interest close 11 May 2018.

The China International Big Data Industry Expo is China’s premier gathering of big data leaders across government, industry and technology companies.

Bootcamp Program 

The Australian Landing Pads program, a pillar of the National Innovation and Science Agenda, facilitates Australian-founded, market-ready, and tech-relevant entrepreneurs and high-growth companies to expand globally. The Landing Pad in Shanghai serves as a gateway to the Greater China market by preparing entrepreneurs to tackle its complexity and uniqueness through 90-day residencies and week-long bootcamps.

Saturday 26 May @Guiyang
Connections: Opportunities to make connections with industry and government networs at the China International Big Data Industry Expo
 
Sunday 27 May @Guiyang
Opportunities and Next Steps: Site visits, business matching, and mentoring for future steps for your business in China.
 

Note: Participants are responsible for all costs incurred in participating in the program (such as airfares, accommodation, travel between Chengdu and Guiyang and personal meals) and a direct fee of A$700 ex GST (to be confirmed and subject to change based on participant numbers) incurred by Austrade in delivering the program.
