We are looking for Australian startups and scaleups that are market-ready with the potential for rapid growth and have:


Ability to describe and communicate their objectives and vision for growth.


Ability to deliver a product or service to 100 or 1 million customers.


Proof-of-concept, existing sales and customers, funding, investors and partners.


Ability to disrupt the marketplace and articulate their value proposition.

Market relevance

Omri Wislizki

Tel Aviv

Omri has been at the centre of linking the Australian and Israeli startup ecosystem and developing strong networks within investor, startups and research communities, to assist Australian startups.


Gabe Sulkes

San Francisco

Gabe Sulkes joins Austrade from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he managed entrepreneurship and investment-side offerings including the university’s startup accelerator program, alumni founders fellowship.


Emily Ma


Emily has diversified experience serving both private and public organisation involving a number of sectors including IT, manufacturing and professional service. Having served start up company herself, Emily is familiar with the start up ecosystem in China.


David Urry


David has been working to bring together companies from different countries for the last eight years. After completing his Master’s down under and working to support UK companies in Germany for six years, David joined Austrade in 2017 to support European companies with investments in Australia.

Samantha co-founded an edutech platform startup where she played an integral role in vendor acquisition and building a customer pipeline.
