As CEO, Brad led the growth of simPRO from its Brisbane roots to operations in the US, UK, and NZ, as a bootstrapped business; eventually raising A$40m for growth and secondary capital. Brad has strong international market experience having lived and worked in Australia, China, the UK and US.

Phaedon is the co-founder of Innovation Bay, Australia's leading angel network of tech investors and founders. He has deep networks in global angel and venture capital markets as well as experience working with hundreds of Australian founders helping them commercialise their ideas, build teams, raise capital and go to market.

Luke is an experienced trade professional with 15 years advising companies around accessing international markets. He is also the global manager of the Landing Pads program providing access to startups and scaleups to innovation hubs in Berlin, San Francisco, Singapore, Shanghai and Tel Aviv. 
Amanda Price, Head of KPMG High Growth Ventures.  
Amanda leads KPMG's dedicated startup team and lived in the US for 8 years working with Australian startups to help them expand internationally.

Gabe helps startups scale in the United States and globally. His experience managing accelerators, including the Oxford University private equity competition, means he will give you the advice you need to know.

Sharon Hunneybell, General Manager, Opmantek (Landing Pad Alumni)

Sharon is the General Manager of Opmantek, a network management and IT audit software company with offices on 4 continents and users in over 130 countries. Sharon is also the driver behind the newly established Gold Coast Innovation Hub, a collaboration between local business people, government and corporate sponsors to drive commercial activity in the innovation and tech sector on the Gold Coast.


Philip Andrews, CEO & Co-Founder of Liquid State (Landing Pad Alumni)

Dr Stephanie Fahey, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) 

Dr Stephanie Fahey is the Chief Executive Officer of Austrade, the Australian Government agency responsible for promoting trade, investment and international education, and tourism policy, programs and research. Stephanie has over 30 years’ experience both as an academic and executive working in Australia and overseas.

Dr Veronica Borrett, CEO of BAI Games (Landing Pad Alumni)  

Dr Veronica Borrett is a scientist and consultant providing strategic planning, and the development of business and funding cases for the science, technology and IT sectors. Through BAI Games, a Games-based Learning company, she developed the iOS app for learning Chines characters called WenHu. She is CEO of BAI Games and Director of the consulting business, BAI Scientific. Veronica has over 30 years experience in leading scientific research programs, strategic planning and program delivery.

Chris is a software engineer with 15 years experience in mobile technology, leadership and entrepreneurship managing multi-million dollar projects. Chris is passionate about mobile innovations and startups and has won national and international awards. Chris is now leading GeoMoby, a platform that brings location & context awareness to any mobile or IoT device with a patented battery safe, real-time solution for high-precision indoor/outdoor geofencing, geolocation and activity monitoring. 



Gerhard (Kim) Kimenkowski, Founder and CEO, CADwalk (Landing Pad Alumni)  

Gerhard (Kim) moved from Germany to Australia, and started Jumbo Vision International Pty Ltd in 1991. Since then, he has remained at the helm, leading the company towards innovation. Kim has 30 years’ experience in the sales and marketing of visual systems, system design, integration and research and development throughout Germany, Asia and Australia. Kim directs the Jumbo Vision Group of Companies in all technical, corporate and future developments and is the CADwalk inventor and patent holder. He is also the inventor of other patents, and has various Qualifications in electronics and project management.
