
The Australia Unlimited (AU) iPad magazine app was launched in Hong Kong by eminent Australian and head of the West Kowloon Cultural District, Mr Michael Lynch, CBE AM at an Austrade-organized event.
More than 70 influential Australians and alumni gathered at Hullett House, where Australian Consul-General, Mr. Paul Tighe and Senior Trade Commissioner, Mr. Phil Ingram formally introduced the nation brand and invited guests to be advocates for contemporary Australia.
Mr Lynch, who sees his arts administrator role as an opportunity to reinforce and embed the connections between Australia and China, is on the cover of the June edition of the iPad magazine. As guest speaker at the launch, he spoke about Australian creativity and boldness and shared his experiences as an Australian working overseas.
Transtar Asia Director, Ms Annie Meyer was also featured in the magazine and attended the launch. She took advantage of the AU Creative Commons license to share her story on AU with more than 5,000 of her business contacts.
The West Kowloon Cultural District is the largest integrated infrastructure project in Hong Kong with 17 cultural venues planned.
